THSO to Honor Bob Brown with Gift of Music Award

The Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra announces a gala award ceremony and dinner to honor long-term THSO-supporter and multi-year THSO president, Bob Brown, with the organization’s Gift of Music Award.

The award ceremony will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Terre Haute Country Club. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres at 5pm and a gourmet three-course meal with an intimate musical performance by Principal Harp Melanie Mashner at 6pm.

Bob Brown has been a dedicated and generous supporter of many organizations and causes in Terre Haute for decades. He is a successful and highly-decorated business executive and entrepreneur, a co-owner of the Rex baseball team, and a wise and articulate leader who has graced many institutions with his wit and candor.

David Bowden, Artistic Director of the THSO, said, “Please mark your calendars now so you can be a part of a wonderful opportunity to honor this remarkable human being on May 19th.”

Reservations are $100 per person or $750 for a table of 8. Reservations can be made by calling the THSO office at (812) 242-8476, Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm or online at thso.org.
