Celebrating Terre Haute’s total solar eclipse in April 2024, the THSO joins the community’s A Total Eclipse of the Haute collaborative event. The symphony will perform a wide variety of musical styles including selections from The Planets by Gustav Holst, John Williams favorites like E.T. and Star Wars, music from Apollo 13 by James Horner, the X-Files theme, and much more heavenly music. Audiences will enjoy their favorite space-inspired music complete with fully integrated video projections created by José Francisco Salgado for an out-of-this-world experience!

Artistic Director-Designate, Dr. Roger Kalia

This concert will feature newly appointed Artistic Director-Designate, Dr. Roger Kalia, as he shares the podium with Artistic Director Dr. David Bowden. Dr. Kalia guest conducted the THSO in November 2022, so we are thrilled to re-introduce him to the Terre Haute community! Dr. Kalia will take over as Artistic Director in July 2025 upon Dr. Bowden’s retirement.
