Administrative & Artistic Staff Positions
The Music Librarian reports to the Artistic Administrator and works in collaboration with the Music Director to manage all sheet music requirements for upcoming concerts. The primary responsibilities of the Music Librarian are to prepare and coordinate distribution of music, research and negotiate music purchases and rentals, manage ASCAP and BMI licensing requirements, manage the orchestra’s physical music library, and update the orchestra’s digital library database to ensure accurate cataloging. This position is expected to maintain a positive working relationship with all administrative staff, the Music Director, the musicians of the THSO, and guest musicians.
Interviews will be scheduled on a rolling basis as applications are submitted. The position will remain open until filled. The application requires a Resume, Cover Letter, and References.
