Exploring Concert Repertoire - A Night of Masquerades

A Discussion of the Repertoire that will be performed by the THSO during A Night of Masquerades on May 1, 2027.

Join musicians from the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra for an illuminating presentation of the upcoming concert, A Night of Masquerades. This 2026-27 season finale will highlight works from ballrooms all over. Whether it be London, New Orleans, or Paris, the music of this evening will certainly transport you to a different place and time of whimsy and glamour. Featured on this program will be Hector Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique, Maurice Ravel’s La valse, Anna Clyne’s Masquerades, and a very special performance of Alan Thiesen’s L’Histoire de la Nouvelle-Orléans starring THSO’s Principal Flautist, Angela Reynolds. OLLI attendees will be treated to an in-depth look at all of these magnificent works on the program as the THSO closes their 26-27 season!
