“For a century, the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra has enriched the art of Terre Haute and the greater Wabash Valley through its unwavering commitment to artistic excellence, music education, and community engagement. As a professional symphony orchestra, you have provided world-class musical experiences close to home, preserved and celebrated our cultural heritage, and inspired audiences through the transformative power of live performance. Your dedication has touched the lives of countless individuals and families, creating a lasting legacy that is woven into the cultural fabric of our community.”
David Chapman, THSA Board President, accepted the honor on behalf of the Terre Haute Symphony Association.
The Symphony’s 100th season is part of a yearlong centennial celebration featuring special performances, educational initiatives, and a special Centennial Gala fundraiser in September.
As Terre Haute continues to invest in arts and culture, the recognition serves as both a tribute to the Symphony’s first century and an invitation to the community to support its next 100 years.
