Join Lev Roshal, music theorist and Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra violinist, for an engaging exploration of the orchestra’s upcoming program. This preview highlights Quinn Mason’s A Joyous Trilogy, a vibrant and uplifting contemporary work, alongside Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto, performed by Eunice Kim, known for its lyrical beauty and technical brilliance. The session concludes with insights into Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6, “Pathétique,” a masterpiece of emotional depth and dramatic intensity. Musical examples and commentary provide context, enhancing appreciation for this dynamic and compelling concert experience.
