Terre Haute Symphony Performs with World Class Pianist Fei-Fei November 1
Fei-Fei, piano
On November 1, 2025, at 7:30pm, the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra presents Rach's Third featuring Van Cliburn International Piano Competition finalist, Fei-Fei, performing Rachmaninov's virtuosic Piano Concerto No. 3 at Tilson Auditorium. The THSO will open the concert with Valerie Coleman’s uplifting Seven O’Clock Shout which is inspired by the tireless efforts of the frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the Coleman, the THSO will perform Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9 which highlights the virtuosity of the THSO musicians in a witty and satirical work that was despised and censured by Soviet critics after its premiere.

She actively champions underrepresented repertoire, performing works by Florence Price, Clara Schumann, Leroy Anderson, and Xiaogang Ye.

She teaches at Montclair State University and serves as Bronfman’s teaching associate.
