THSO Announces 26-27 Symphony Sunday Chamber Music Series

The Terre Haute Symphony is proud to partner with Westminster Village to continue our Symphony Sundays chamber music series with residents and the public, now in its 6th season. During the 2026-2027 season, the THSO will bring eight (8) chamber ensembles to the J.W. Davis Community Center at Westminster to share free recitals featuring THSO musicians and friends. All recitals begin at 2pm and will last no more than an hour. Refreshments will be served. Program information is below: 


August 23, 2026 

Trios, Duos, and Solos 

Featuring THSO Musicians Eva Tao (violin), Ryan Tolentino (viola), and Connor Swain (cello) performing selections by Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven. 


 September 20, 2026 

Music for String Quartet 

Featuring THSO Musicians Lev Roshal (violin) and Nicolette Cheauré (viola) along with friends Cameron Zorlu (violin) and Owen Cummings (cello). Program coming soon. 


 October 25, 2026 

10° Trio 

Featuring THSO Musician Layne Anspach (horn) and friends Matt Williamson (trombone) and Yeon-Kyng Kim (piano). Program coming soon. 


November 15, 2026 

Fancy Colors 

Featuring the THSO Brass Quintet with Jay Ellsmore (trumpet), Zach Calhoon (trumpet), Brian Kilp (horn), Randy Mitchell (trombone) and Glen Dimick (tuba). Program coming coon. 


March 14, 2027 

Angelus Duo 

Featuring THSO Principal Harp Melanie Mashner and her sister Melissa Mashner (flute) performing works by Jean Cras, Jacques Ibert, Gabriel Fauré, and Claude Debussy. 


 April 18, 2027 

Michael Chu & Friends 

Featuring THSO Concertmaster Michael Chu performing music for string quartet with friends Jack Bogard (violin), Mark Hatlestad (viola), and Graham Cullen (cello). Program coming soon. 


 May 16, 2027 

New Music for Violin & Piano

Featuring THSO Musician Ryan Tolentino (violin) and pianist/composer Keaton Springfield performing Springfield’s new works for violin. 


 June 13, 2027 

Impressaria Winds 

Featuring the Impressaria Wind Quintet featuring THSO Musician Sharon Weyser (horn). Program coming soon.
