Terre Haute Symphony League Hosts Luminous Strings on March 5th and 6th
On March 5th and 6th, 2026, the Terre Haute Symphony League presents their second annual Luminous Strings fundraising event featuring the THSO String Quartet performing music from American Rock Legends such as Journey, Van Halen, Metallica, Bon Jovi, the White Stripes, Imagine Dragons, Guns N’ Roses, and more at The Red Barn. Attendees and performers will be surrounded by hundreds of candles creating a unique atmosphere! Doors open at 6:30pm for the cash bar complete with light desserts and light appetizers. The THSO String Quartet will begin playing by candlelight at 7:30pm.

On Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Roger Kalia invite audiences to experience THSO Presents! – Appalachian Spring, an uplifting chamber concert celebrating the spirit, stories, and soundscapes of America. The performance takes place at Hatfield Hall on the campus of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and is part of the orchestra’s popular THSO Presents! Chamber Series.

The Terre Haute Symphony and the Terre Haute Casino Resort bring Bourbon & Blues to Terre Haute on Friday, January 23, 5pm-9pm, featuring St. Louis Blues artist Brian Curran! Attendees will enjoy bourbon, wine, and spirits tastings from 16 vendors, appetizers, a cash bar, and a bourbon basket raffle with select products from each vendor. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra’s mission of providing Great Music! Close to Home in Terre Haute and the Wabash Vally.

On December 6, 2025, at 3:00pm, the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra will perform their annual holiday concert, Celebrate the Holidays, at Tilson Auditorium featuring vocalist Justin John Moniz and Principal Guest Conductor, David Bowden. The THSO will share holiday favorites including Leroy Anderson’s Bugler’s Holiday, selections from The Nutcracker, I'll Be Home for Christmas, The Christmas Song, a holiday sing-along, a special Hanukkah overture, and more.
